About

For a future where no system causes harm.

Ecosphere Consulting was founded by Emily Mei Carter, a systems-thinking communicator and global citizen who was determined to bring together her knowledge from different industries and carve her own path after moving to the other side of the world (literally). After having her first child Emily knew that it was time to focus on actively building the kind of future she wanted to see, and she set out to identify the area that would realise the greatest impact from what she knew.

This was HXM, a discipline which had been evolving over the years through much the same pathways that she herself had been on. It was a natural fit.

Emily believes in continuous improvement, servant-based leadership, and that communication is the most essential component of absolutely everything. She is passionate about building a future where people are happy and fulfilled by what they do even as working and private life begin to converge.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, she is currently based on the West Coast of Sweden. She works locally, as well as globally via digital services.

In a Nutshell

Qualifications

Qualifications

Emily has nearly 15 years of experience as a communicator, advisor, marketing professional and manager. This includes 3 years as a generalist consultant (which, according to her CEO at the time, counts as 12 in a 'normal' job). Despite spending a significant amount of time buried in safety management procedures, she somehow retained an excellent sense of humor, and loves using metaphors to make learning material more relatable.

Emily Mei Carter is a confident and articulate trainer and public speaker who has:

  • delivered training to numerous leadership groups,
  • conducted nearly 200 face-to-face workplace interviews, including conflict investigations under LPP,
  • spoken at the Symposium of Australian Gastronomy, and
  • moderated the panel discussion The Status of Gender Equality in Sweden on behalf of PWN Stockholm and REDMAD of Chile.

She has been considered for TEDx in two cities but it remains a standing goal to be achieved.
